When I first heard of the 9/11 attacks, I was in the seventh grade and I was on my way to third hour. I was walking near my locker and someone came up to me and said, "The twin towers are burning." I did not know what the twin towers were so I didn't think much of it. I remember a song in my head that I thought of when I heard but I don't want to share the song because I thought of it not knowing the gravity of the situation. I walked into my third hour class and my teacher, Mrs.Risku, was crying and the television was on and we watched news coverage of it all day and then it hit me and I don't believe any of our lives have been the same since.
