Questions for interrogators:
Part 2
Yet another question: How could our government resort to making such short term decisions that could ruin us in the long run? I can tell you why. It is not because we are ignorant or stupid, that we are not thinking ahead, quite the opposite. The conservative, right wing, mostly Republican validations we have in power have thought ahead and used the War, and the weakness of our congress (due in large part by the democratic party not having any testicles, for lack of a better term), and problems seen at home (gas prices) to find a way to begin slowly wrenching away at the efficient democracy we have till it breaks and total executive power is given, (and who would conveniently be in power?...The conservative republican politicians). The destruction of our democracy to total executive power would have so many implications on so many levels and I cannot begin to fathom what the state of our nation would be. If our government keeps acting like this, I cannot see a future in a democracy in America. I see the shadows of Quaddafi, Salazar and Castro. I see the shadows of Kim-Jung-Ill, Stalin, and Mussalini. American will not be America if this continues any longer.
